Beauty Brands Names New President
Beauty Brands Inc. has named COO David Bernstein as president, succeeding his father, Robert. Robert Bernstein is the company’s founder and remains as CEO. David Bernstein has been COO since 2006. He was vice president of operations from 2000 to 2006, and he started with the company in 1995.
“It’s quite a task and challenge to take my dad’s vision and continue to evolve and develop the concept,” David Bernstein said in a release Thursday. The company plans to open three new locations in 2009 and double its location count by 2013. The company employs more than 1,850 salon professionals and sales associates at 52 locations in 11 states.
