With the 2009 Oscar Awards right around the corner, buzz has picked up about a potential Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie face-off at the Night Before The Oscars party on Saturday.

While it has been reported that Jen is definitely attending the famous award ceremony with hot boyfriend John Mayer on her arm, there has been no confirmation she will be in close proximity to Brad and Angie fondly referred to as Bragelina.

Winner Of Best Hair Award?

Even if Jen and Angie do show up at the same place at either a Night Before The Oscars party or the actual awards I don’t care if they get into a big cat fight, I care more about who has the better hair.

In fact, what the media doesn’t cover much is the fact both women have access to some of the best celebrity hairdressers, make-up artists and stylists in the world.

True To Natural Hair Color, Type & Texture

Ironically the two women, who appear to have the same taste in men, tend to have similar hairstyles and focus.  Except when required to go blonde for “Life Or Something Like It” (2002), Angie has remained true to her natural brunette hair color.

Ditto to Jen.  Although her eponymous “Rachel” haircut and style triggered a hairstyle frenzy, Jen has also stayed close to her natural hair color and general texture with some slight enhancements including perfectly applied highlights and smoothing treatments.

Both of Brad’s women, his ex and current partners, opt for simple but elegant hairstyles which are usually long, lush an sleek.  Whether they are wearing sleek long ponytails cascading from a high crown base or soft chignons nestled into the nape of their necks, Jen and Angie favor similar Red Carpet hairstyles.

Although Jen and Angie have different skin and eye tones, their hair is often worn brushed off their face, even when styled with loose waves throughout the perimeter.  Maybe their hair is worn in similar hairstyles because their celebrity hairdressers – Chris McMillan for Jen and Ted Gibson or David Babaii for Angelina.
