Kanye Omari West (pronounced /’kanjej/) was born June 8, 1977.  He’s a beloved American rapper, record producer and singer.  He released his debut album The College Dropout in 2004, his second album Late Registration in 2005, his third album.

Kanye has been in the media a lot lately and specifically his love life has caught the spotlight.   The latest buzz is about Kanye’s new love.  He showed her off at the recent Fashion Week.

His new love?  Model Amber Rose. The hot new couple showed up at the Narciso Rodriquez and Alexandre Herchcovitch’s fashion shows.  They also were spotted cuddling at Nur Khan’s Rose Bar.

Insiders have been quoted as saying the model has a similar personality to Kanye and the couple is well matched.

Others have reported Kanye appreciates the model’s beauty but is interested in her inner beauty as well.  Kanye has a lot of constant media attention but the word on the street is that Amber Rose doesn’t get freaked out by the papparrizzi.  Good thing since Kanye is constantly being photographed.

Kanye went through a terrible time in November of 2007 when his beloved mother, Donda West, died unexpectedly due to complications from cosmetic surgery involving a tummy tuck and breast reduction procedure.

At a December 2008 press conference in New Zealand, Kanye broke his silence on his Mother’s death for the first time. “It was like losing an arm and a leg and trying to walk through that,” he told reporters.

Kanye’s close friends and family and delighted he has a new love in his life to help him move on from his grief over his mother’s death.
