Hair Miracle Leave-In Product - its a 10
In the past I’ve talked about visits to my own personal Dallas hair colorist - Rose Zuniga. My hair is very long and after it’s been highlighted it tends to tangle a tiny bit. Especially since Rose has to wash out the highlight color from the foils in a sink, which tends to make wet hair naturally tangle more.
After one of the first visits I noticed Rose spritzing my hair with a little purple bottle with the interesting title - its a 10™ - on the label. I asked the lovely Rose about the product and she told me it “works miracles with detangling”. It’s also “great for dry or slightly damaged hair”.
I immediately ran right out and bought it for my own at-home use. I started recommending it to some of my friends who also loved it. Of course the folks at HairBoutique.com had to have some and one thing led to another and now it’s everyone in the building.
Since it is one of my own personal favorite products I figured the product is worthy of its own blog product review. Don’t you agree? So without further ado:
its a 10 - miracle leave-in product - 4 fl oz or 10 fl oz (available at HairBoutique.com).
The product packaging is eye catching. It caught my eye sitting on Rose’s shelf crowded in with other hairsprays and related styling products. The product has a rich purple base with a light plum top and spray.
The aroma is very nice and reminds me of a field of blooming flowers on a cool spring day.
What Its A 10 Does For Your Hair
The product advertises that it Does 10 Things Instantly - hence the name - its a 10™
1. Repairs dry, damage hair
2. Adds shine
3. Detangles
4. Controls frizz
5. Seals & protects hair color
6. Prevents split ends
7. Stops hair breakage
8. Creates silkiness
9. Enhances natural body
10. Flat iron spray & thermal protector
It’s amazingly easy to use. Shampoo and condition hair, towel dry, spray product all over hair and comb through.
If you prefer you can spray a little bit of the product onto the palms of your hands, massage into your fingertips and use your fingers to “pick” through your hair to distribute.
Remember when detangling to always start at the bottom of the strands and work your way up to prevent unnecessary hair breakage or ripping.
Ingredients:
Purified Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Menthylparaben, Propylparaben, Propylene Glycol, Pantehenol, Cyclomethicone, Silk Amino Acids, Heli Anthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Quaternium-80, Fragrance/Parfume, Eugenol 3, Courmarin 3, Cinamal 3, Linaloo 3, Methylchloroisothiazaolinone & Methylisothiazolinone
its a 10 is available in two sizes - 4 ounces and 10 ounces. its a 10 also has a great miracle hair mask.
Conclusion
Will its a 10 work for all types, textures, conditions and lengths of hair? Probably not. However, many people, especially those with dry, damaged or chemically treated hair will most likely enjoy the results.
An important step is for anyone considering the use of this product to read the ingredients carefully to determine if the list would be compatible with your own awareness of products which work well for your hair.
If you’ve used its a 10 products I would love to hear your feedback or recommendations for similar products which have worked well for you and your hair.
