Lindsay Lohan - Hair Color Secrets

Lindsay Lohan, Linds to her friends, recently posed for the December 2008 cover of Harpers Bazaar, which is now available on newstands across the United States.

Lindsay was photographed rocking a spectacular one-of-a-kind jumpsuit created by Michael Kors. The shimming creation was encrusted with Crystallized Swarovski Elements for Saks Fifth Avenue.

Her rich warm blonde hued hair was styled for the shoot by celeb hairdresser Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai. Adir left Lindsay’s hair long and loose with a deep off center part connecting side-swept sections that flowed into tousled curtains of hair. Longer tresses spilled seductively over her shoulders, cascading down to her back.

Lind’s hair color was a beautiful combination of much lighter face framing strands and rich darker bases. It was no surprise to me to discovered that Celebrity Haircolorist to the Stars - Tracey Cunningham - was the hair color mastermind behind the celebrity’s gorgeous haircolor.

Tracey who is Redken’s Creative Consultant for Color shared the key shades she used to achieve Lindsay’s eye popping color.

Tracey whipped up the gorgeous color hues by utiliizing Redken Shades EQ Ezualizing Conditioning Color Gloss in the following colors: 08C Cayenne, 09G Vanilla Crème, and 09AA Papaya.

Besides offering incredible color options, Redken’s Shades EQ Equalizing Conditioning Color Gloss is the #1 long-lasting no-lift, non-ammonia, demi-permanent haircolor in the U.S. Professional haircolorists agree with the brilliance of the Shades EQ line.

The product has won Stylist Choice Awards for the past seven years and is considered one of the most versatile haircolor brands colorists can use for their clients. Shades EQ provides healthy, shiny results, incredible conditioning with an amazing number of mixing possibilities, as demonstrated by Tracey on Lind’s locks.

Shades EQ can be used as a glaze, color refresher as well as for color correction. Ingredients include acidic pH, no lift, non-ammonia formula, long-lasting colorants, wheat amino acids and silicone.

I would love to have your feedback on Lindsay’s haircolor and hairstyle on the cover of Bazaar.  What do you think?
