A flat iron can straighten hair and it can create curls and even waves.  If you have a heated iron and apply it to hair it can change the texture.

Listed below are some steps on how to create curls with a hot flat iron:

Step 1:

Shampoo hair utilizing the product best designed for your hair type, texture and condition.  Apply a rinse out conditioner appropriate for your hair.  Apply a cool/cold final rinse to close cuticle.

Step 2:

Apply leave-in conditioning cocktail including a heat protectant.  Blow dry hair until 100% dry.

Step 3:

Lice Treatment Center Offers All Natural Lice Treatment ProductsThe Lice Treatment Center Now Offers All Natural Lice Treatment Products

Hair products use effective, non-toxic essential oils to treat lice.

The Lice Treatment Center announced today the arrival of its new all natural lice treatment product line, Bon Cheveux, which was developed by a board certified pediatrician.

When faced with an outbreak of head lice that seemed impossible to cure, Elizabeth Solovay and Dr. Elin Cohen put their Ivy League-educated heads together and founded The Lice Treatment Center in Easton, Connecticut.

They developed holistic lice treatment methods and a hair product line that uses a blend of essential oils such as cinnamon, peppermint, neem and tea tree oils.

“Many people don’t realize that over-the-counter medications and stronger prescription medications are often ineffective because lice have developed resistance to the active ingredients,” said Solovay, co-founder of The Lice Treatment Center and mother of five children ranging in ages from 2 to 16. “These lice treatment products only kill the adult lice and do not kill the nits, which must be physically pulled or combed out of the hair.” Continue reading “Lice Treatment Center Offers All Natural Lice Treatment Products” »

Bad Hair Days Thing Of Past According To German Researchers

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Bad Hair Days Thing Of Past According To German Researchers“Bad hair days” could soon become a thing of the past, according to German researchers who say they have unsnarled the mystery of frizzy and tangled hair.

The chemists from the University of Bayreuth claim they have developed the first detailed microscopic analysis of what happens to individual hair fibers when they interact with each other, which is to say when they get tangled up with each other and refuse to untangle.

The research could pave the way for the development of improved shampoos, conditioners and other products for repairing damaged hair, according to the findings.

In the new study, the researchers invented a unique technology for analyzing hair that involves mounting individual hair fibers on a cantilever tip of an atomic force microscope and measuring their interactions as they touch each other. Restock Fees – Reasons Why Companies Have Added Them

Friday, September 5th, 2008

In business everything flows down to the bottom line.  Which means that there is a cost associated with everything.

While it used to be that the majority of companies would accept returns with no restock fees of any kind, the skyrocketing costs of returns forced many businesses to implement some sort of restock fees to help cover the costs.

Many customers do not understand restock fees.  They often think it is a company’s attempt to squeeze every last penny out of them. While this may be the case with some companies, most businesses are just trying to cover their expenses.

What expenses you ask?  Let me tell you.
