Party For “Medium” Rocks Great Hairstyles On Patricia Arquette, Courteney Cox & Maria LarkIn case you were worried that the real life inspired happenings on NBC’s Medium had evaporated into a puff of ghostly smoke, you are in luck.  The hit show starring gorgeous blonde, newly bobbed, Patricia Arquette is slated to return as a “mid season” replacement.

The various thereal beings that pop up in various episodes will be present along with the various family members used to having a seer as mom and wife.

Party For “Medium” Rocks Great Hairstyles On Patricia Arquette, Courteney Cox & Maria LarkNBC honored The Medium cast last night at The Stephen Cohen Gallery in Beverly Hills.

Not only is Patricia a noted actress, she has a gorgeous new hubby, actor Thomas Jane and a family of actors, actresses and entertainers.

Patricia’s brother just happens to be married to former Friends star Courteney Cox who was also at the shindig with her lush strands brushed seductively to one side and cascading down around her shoulders.

(Image of Patricia Arquette & Jake Webber – NBC Hosts Fall Party for the hit drama “Medium” – October 26, 2006 – DailyCeleb.com – all rights reserved).

Pint sized blonde beauty, Maria Lark, who is a budding scene stealer as the middle daughter on Medium was in attendance with beatiful culrs and waves.

Patricia reported Maria “is a real character” when quizzed about her on last season’s Ellen.  I for one love her sassy attitude and hilarious facial expressions.  I predict we see great things from Maria in upcoming episodes.

Even the men were coiffed in handsome styles although Thomas Jane would be stunning with no hair at all.

Just imagine working on set every day with the impishly handsome Jake Webber and then going home to Thomas Jane.  Patricia must be doing something right.

Kudos to all the talented hairdressers that created the stunning styles.

Linda Wang Reports From Duty On Days Of Our Lives on NBC

Wednesday, October 25th, 2006

Linda Wang Reports From Duty On Days Of Our Lives on NBCAs I reported recently, Asian beauty and noted actress Linda Wang recently signed on for a short acting gig with the daytime cast of General Hospital as a nurse.

Linda promised to give me any scoops on her activites.  She recently weighed in with a photo (to the side) and some interesting tidbits of Days acting experiences.

(Image of actress Linda Wang – October 2006 – Phalen Film LDT – Courtesy of Linda Wang – All rights reserved).

It seems that for her role she had to wear a costume that as Linda laughingly said made her look like “an astronaut in white”.  They actually put her in “a Hazmat suit.”

She also reported “the DOOL hairdresser was really nice”.  Linda noted “she pulled my hair back” and told her “she had beautiful hair”.

On set Linda was directed to stand up straight to avoid slouching for the camera.  The director advised Linda “not to breathe too heavily” to avoid fogging up the inside of the plastic helmet suit that would block her pretty face”.

The stage manager joked saying “Linda Wang, are you flying to the moon?” Linda replied, “I am only flying to the moon with my superheroes”.

Boti Ann Bliss (Maxine Valera on CSI Miami) Goes Buttery Blonde

Monday, October 23rd, 2006

Boti Ann Bliss (Maxine Valera on CSI Miami) Goes Buttery BlondeAlthough she tends to blend into the background of the famous CSI Miami lab, when the camera focuses on her tall willowly (formerly) brunette presence, she is all business.

Whether she is searching for fingerprints or other incriminating evidence such as hair or tiny traces of blood, Maxine Valera or “Valera” as the team refers to her has a relatively minor supporting role on the powerhouse drama.

I personally love all of the CSI francises although I used to prefer the original Las Vegas to any of the others.  Call me fickle but I’m entranced by the pace, scenery, cast and mesmerizing stories on Monday’s CSI Miami.  Not only has it become my favorite CSI (Las Vegas is now #2 with New York #3) but my favorite action show in the current offerings.

Boti Ann Bliss (Maxine Valera on CSI Miami) Goes Buttery Blonde(Image of Boti Bliss on CSI MIAMI – Curse Of The Coffin – Photo: Cliff Lipson/CBS ©2006 CBS Broadcasting Inc – All Rights Reserved).

I don’t care whether David Caruso is a well-known bad boy.  The inside scoop on the show is that the man sets the bar to the highest level for his own acting.  And it shows.  He is known to be the first on the set and the last to leave.  I admire that type of dedication.

Meanwhile I adore all of the main cast.  Yet I find that I stop and pay close attention to every scene with Boti (yes, that’s her name).  While her part is small,  her presence is always intriquing.  I often wonder if she will be “promoted” out of the lab into the field like other CSI actors and actresses before her.

Tonight’s episode (October 23, 2006) was thrilling and involved Santeria, a miniature coffin and visits to graveyards at night.   In an ironic twist, tonight was also Boti’s real life birthday.

While I was riveted to my screen following the fast paced mystery of whodonunit I noticed that Boti had completely changed her hair.  In fact, my viewing companion (a male who usually doesn’t notice hair under any circumstances) specifically made note of her sizzling new style.  Boti who normally wears her medium brunette hair straight and to the top of her shoulders had a very blonde bob that was much shorter.

Boti Ann Bliss (Maxine Valera on CSI Miami) Goes Buttery BlondeMy male friend actually paused the TIVO to point out her hair.  “Look how hot she looks as a blonde” he noted.  And yes, she did look great.  She actually seemed to light up the screen and definitely outshone Adam Rodriquez who is a major hottie in his own right.

(Image of Adam Rodriguez and Boti Bliss on CSI MIAMI – Curse Of The Coffin – Photo: Cliff Lipson/CBS ©2006 CBS Broadcasting Inc – All Rights Reserved).

In my humble opinion she looked really good as a blonde.  The newly crafted bob appeared to be slightly layered so that it fell in soft shiny panels around her face making her eyes literally pop.  Unforunately I don’t know the name of the gifted haircolorist and/or hairdresser responsible for Boti’s transformation but she definitely looked gorgeous.  Kudos to all.

Does this makeover mean that Boti is poised for more camera time on CSI?  I certainly hope so.  She could definitely add a wonderful new dimension to the current cast. I guess only time will tell but I for one will be watching closely.
