Luscious Lips With Jane Iredale’s Newest PureGloss Colors

Jane Iredale Glosses

Luscious Lips With Jane Iredale’s Newest PureGloss Colors

Don’t let those lips go bare this winter! Give them a luscious, wet look with three of Jane Iredale’s newest PureGlosses.

To compliment the most recent Pink and Cognac Collections, is Rum Raisin PureGloss, a combination of deep orange and tan with an added shimmer and Sugar Plum PureGloss, Jane’s bubblegum-pink gloss.

Joining Rum Raisin and Sugar Plum is the third enchanting entry, so wonderful that it’s called Just Gloss.

For a shine that doesn’t stop and a product that can be used on top of any color. Even wear it to bed to nourish and moisturize the lips.

Many lip products, especially glosses and balms, contain petroleum products. Petroleum draws oil out of the lips and causes them to dry and chap.

About Jane Iredale

PureGlosses are in a base of white lily gel, which nourishes and moisturizes, and have a fresh lemon-ginger flavor.   Jane Iredale is carried at the finest day, hotel and destination spas worldwide.

The b-cause Foundation Launches Make A Change Day For Alzheimers

New York- The b∙cause Foundation marked the beginning of this year’s Make A Change Day campaign at the John Allan’s Club on Wednesday, November 5th. The Make A Change Day Campaign recipient this year is the Alzheimer’s Association.

Among the attendees were Angelo David, Mark Garrison, Brad Johns, Annette Hanson, John Allan, Rudy Sprogis, Inka Dorring as well as consumer and trade beauty editors and many industry manufacturers.

The b∙cause Foundation was supported by committee members Paula Dorf, Mark Garrison, Kevin Mancuso, Oribe, Garren, Marcia Kilgore, Pat McGrath and Orlando Pita.

b∙cause is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 2000 to support charitable organizations that address the social concerns of salon owners and beauty industry professionals.

What is Make A Change Day? Salon owners who wish to participate can display a jar at their establishments and collect loose change. At the end of the collection the money is directed to a Coinstar machine and is transferred directly to the charity chosen for that year. Camyrn Manheim’s Long Luscious Brunette Hair

Hollywood Hairdresser Robert Hallowell emailed me recently (July 9, 2003) to let me know “I did a great shoot with Camyrn Manheim for Glamour (Magazine) yesterday, it went great and I gave her a Veronica Lake look for the October issue.”

Robert has been coiffing Camyrn for years, even back in “the day”.  Camyrn is an incredible actress, but no foreigner to controversy.  At the 1998 Emmy Awards which was the height of sleek hair and backless dresses on the Red Carpet, Camyrn went with a different hairstyle.

The LA Times on September 14, 1998 sniped “too bad Camyrn Manheim, a popular winner (she won Emmy in 1998 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for The Practice), didn’t get the neat hair message and went for a fussy up-do.”

Although the fashion police damned her messy hair, the beloved actress Emmy was very much-deserved for her amazing work in The Practice.

In her acceptance speech she shouted “this is for all the fat girls!”  Her nod to fat girls has been included since that point as one of the “controversies” which has occurred at the Emmy Awards throughout history. Continue reading “Camyrn Manheim’s Long Luscious Brunette Hair” »
